What I most value about Hornby Island:
Remote but not too remote. Beautiful beaches. The lack of a building code
which has allowed me to build creatively and of course the Recycling Depot,
which has been my one stop, shop for everything, resource centre. Our low-income
family would never have been able to survive here on Hornby without the
clothes, furniture building materials, art supplies, etc. that the Depot
has provided.
