This website gives both new and longstanding visitors insight into the people and history of Hornby Island. Cardboard House Bakery - Summer Music Schedule

Every Wednesday and Sunday night of the summer (weather permitting) the bakery hosts musicians in the orchard. Check out the summer schedule of who's playing those nights.

Island Rideshare

A brand new service connecting Hornby and Denman Islanders to carpool for trips. Go to islandrideshare.com to connect with a ride or list your own ride.

Farmers' Market

Hornby's market has been operating since 1995 and this year moved to a brand new location in the new 'The Copse' forest park. Click here for a preview of the artisans' wares.

Hornby Recreation - Summer Programs

Living surrounded by water makes us very aware of the limits of a small island - and of a small planet. Residents generally strive to leave a modest footprint.
