Linda’s home is her studio, a part of family life. Felting is a natural process - the fusion of fibres, colours, textures, and fabrics in a foundation of wool fleece create unique and expressive “Wearable Art”. The layout process is much like painting, dyed layers of wool fleece become the canvas and dyed wool staples, silk, yarns and fabrics are manipulated to embellish the surface with texture, design and imagery. Linda also dyes and spins yarns that she knits and crochets directly into the felt garments. Wool is a versatile natural material, luxurious to wear and easy to care for….Thanks to the sheep!
