Graham Herbert
Graham grew up in Calgary where painting and boatbuilding were part of his everyday life. Recently his love for boats and painting has come together in colourful images that represent a return to his roots. Graham constructs floating worlds of funky buildings and hand made boats . His technique has come through years of experimentation. Graham’s life and inspiration for his art on Hornby revolve around an abundance of sailing and messing about with boats. A longtime island resident, Graham is also a lyrical, accomplished fine woodworker.
