Cimarron Knight
Cimarron is a mixed media artist who explores story, both cultural and personal, by combining photo-based imagery with painting. An active member of the arts community for over a decade, she earned a BFA from the University of Victoria. As a teenager living on Hornby, Cimarron enjoyed the diversity of people and the natural beauty of the island. Recently returned, she is continuing her exploration of story and the irony that can hide in a narrative. Cimarron has artworks in private collections across Canada, including the permanent collections of the Kamloops and Nanaimo Art Galleries of British Columbia.
